Biography ::

Two mice fell into a bucket full of cream.
The first mouse struggled for a short while but quickly gave up.
the " 2nd MOUSE " fought so furiously that he eventually churned the cream into butter, and crawled out.

Today , I am that 2nd mouse

As soon as i heard this , i knew the symbolism was perfect as a metaphor for tenacity and determination , and an image that would make the mind strong.

I've been seriously making music for about 4/5 years now. I started with a Roland D-20 and started composing tracks with its 8 track onboard sequencer which was quite powerful at the time , but I found the sounds very dull and plain , and even though I edited the sounds , I could never get them quite the way i wanted , for the arrangements that I heard in my head.
When I discovered i could have an entire studio within a PC , i set about getting one .
I grew up being a big big fan of depeche mode , so i was naturally very open to synth sounds , and the more artificial and futuristic the better . Some years later , I came across Detroit Techno and discovered the likes of Juan Atkins / Model 500 , Derrick May , Blake Baxter , which then opened me up to deeper evolution of detroit techno from greatly respected artists like Dan Curtin, Luke Slater, Jeff Mills , Polygon window/Aphex twin , and most recently Balil/Plaid , Boards of Canada , LFO and a lot of independant IDM and electronica from M3RCK : John Tejada , Machine Drum , Plone , Frank Martiniq , Vesna etc being just a handful .....
If its fresh and experimental , and breaks rules , i'll listen to it.

There is a great legacy of dance music in all its myriad forms over the past 20 or so years , and 2ndMOUSE is about pushing boundaries , whilst still retaining evocative melodies. 2ndMOUSE is about fusing together sounds that were never intended to enjoy the same space . 2ndMOUSE won't follow the crowd. Watch........this........Space.
